NEW STANDARDS - RENTAL ACCOMMODATION
New standards for rental accommodation were signed into law on the 10th December 2008. These standards are effective from the 1st February 2009. There is a phasing in period of 4 years for some of the items on the standards. A copy of the new standards can be viewed here.
BER - Building Energy Ratings
Building Energy Rating Certificates are required for all lettings from the 1st January 2009, ensure that you have one in place in adequate time. More information available on the energy section of the website.
